Do you want more of Jesus' Joy?
The Lord Jesus said repeatedly in John 15-17 that He came to earth so that His Joy might be in us and that our Joy would be made full! He rejoices to give us His Joy! And when His Joy fills our souls, it changes everything!
One key to experiencing that dynamic joy in its fullness is to experience the Joy of being used by the Lord Jesus to bring His Joy to unbelievers! Most of us are not 'tasting this Joy.' Are the following statements true about you?
- I long to experience more of the life changing Joy of Jesus in my life day by day
- I rarely talk to unbelievers about Jesus & I rarely share the Gospel with them
- I have rarely or never been used by Jesus to bring His Saving Joy to an unbeliever
- I feel inadequate and fearful and 'helpless' and I just don't know how to love unbelievers into the Kingdom
- I don't think the Lord wants to use me to bring His Life into the heart of an unbeliever
- BUT I do really want the Lord to change me & I want Him to use me to love unbelievers, and I want the magnificent joy of being used by Jesus to bring people into His kingdom!
This Fall during our Wednesday Evening Worship we will use Jack Miller's book, 'A Faith Worth Sharing' (really a Jesus worth sharing!), along with a selection of passages from the Bible, to seek the Lord together, and to invite Him to show us How strong He can be in our weaknesses, and how He can indeed use us in ways greater than we could imagine or think to love unbelievers in Raleigh into His Kingdom! We will discuss Jack Miller's book, & some key passages from Scripture, and we will 'brainstorm' together about the adventure of following Jesus with a willingness to 'risk' and be used by Him anyway He wants to use us!
